When these larvae grow up, they are taken out from here and kept in a reticulated structure and here these insects later extract a liquid from their mouth which is a type of protein, but as soon as it comes in contact with the air, it turns into a liquid. Turns into a lattice solid.
Then take out this solid material from here and collect it. It is yellow in appearance. It looks like a capsule, which is taken out from here and put in hot or boiling water. Silkworms die as soon as they go into hot water, after which this silk capsule is converted into threads with the help of a machine. These threads are wrapped in a spinning wheel and then they are taken out from there and dried. A lot of time and effort is spent in doing this whole process, that is why the price of silk is so high in the market.
